The Imaging Services team provides diagnostic imaging to patients at The Lister Hospital. A wide range of diagnostic services is available including x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning.

At both The Lister Hospital and at Chelsea Outpatient Centre, the Imaging departments offer a comprehensive diagnostic service with HPC registered radiographers or Consultant Radiologists from prestigious NHS teaching hospitals, who are leaders in their areas of expertise. 

All staff are encouraged to participate in a continuing education programme to ensure that the department remains at the forefront of imaging developments and techniques.

Imaging tests are usually reported by Consultant Radiologists within 48 hours but often on the same day. Urgent results can be fast tracked by prior arrangement.

CDs of your scanned images are available for you to take home after your examination. Examinations are also available for your consultant to view via the hospital’s PACS Imaging network.
